What Did You Have For Dinner Last Night?

Homemade lasagna with meat sauce and diced veggies cooked in with it. Does it count as homemade if you made it at someone else's home?

Slow cooked Tandori chicken thighs with brown rice and roast egg plant. For dessert we had homemade chocolate chip bread pudding with a egg base.

Roast chicken breast stuffed with a thick tomato and garlic sauce, mozzarella, sundried tomatoes, and green olives. Served with a side of roast new potatoes, broccoli, cubed carrots, and peas. Nice and filling on a cold evening.

I just finished tonite a mustard and honey pork loin that I sliced down the center and put heapings of chopped garlic in, dusted the loin with sage and rosemary dashed the olive oil touched it with caraway seeds and suffocated it with asparagus baked at 425 for an hour and served over pepper and salt add to Jamaican-curry with extra cumin seasoned rice. (to die for woot)

Made some nachos with blue corn tortilla chips then piled with tons of lettuce, diced tomato, sharp cheddar, black olives, pico de gallo and homemade guacamole then on the side homemade chicken chili. For dessert, fresh strawberries, melon and grapes with a yogurt dipping sauce.

This is my first foray into this thread, so I shall post some recent menus:

-Chipotle BBQ boneless chicken thighs & crinkle-cut sweet potato fries (all oven baked)
-Southwest chicken and shrimp with rice, red peppers and onions
-Asian style BBQ beef short rib, mashed potatoes & Italian green beans a la Sector 7 (skillet fried with garlic soya sauce and a dash of aged balsamic vinegar)
-my homemade turkey chili (not too spicy, but with 7 varieties of hot sauce to add at one's preferred level of heat)
-crab stuffed salmon pinwheels, Italian green beans a la Sector 7 (Mom loves them!)

Coming this week to a dining room near me (mine!):

-Homemade lasagna with ground turkey and mixed vegetables

The two things you will never find on my menu are sausage nor green peppers (they do very bad things to my system).

oh my - I don't feel so badly about a recent supper of Sangria and Kippers now . . .

Got room at the table for one more? hugs!

Homemade grilled jerk chicken breasts, with a jerk mixed spice brought to us by a friend from the Caribbean. Paired with roast seasonal veg. Superb. I'll have to hunt down more of that spice via the 'net if possible.
