Courgette, yellow and red pepper pizza. I travelled quite a long way to get it. I wanted a real pizza. It was made by two girls from Naples with only the best ingredients. I've had pizza in all kinds of places, but the best by far is this one, which is a tiny box-like little bar tucked away in a dark alley. It cost nothing and was so massive, I had it for dinner last night as well (probably not massive at all by American standards though). :D

Don't they call new-years amateur nite because the rest of the year is when the professional alcoholics bend their elbows?

I had to type that for a friend alcoholic who I converse with now and then.

Where most amateurs are not alcoholically drinking.. given.

I ate the ham the potato the broccoli with cheese sour cream on the potato and so on most excellent stuff :) A Classic New year's dinner.

did not have the cider cause of the sugar content in it and forget about booze..not in a very long time.

Cooked up a pretty great beef casserole, with mushrooms and beans. For a change, in addition to my usual choices of herbs & spices, I used some Chinese Five Spice to mix things up a bit. Turned out very well indeed. And there's some left over for later today.

Southwest beef with rice, black beans and corn, courtesy of Birdseye Steamfresh. It was very good, to my surprise... Mom liked it, too.

Tonight we are having whatever Mom wants for her birthday.:techman:
