What did Odo do with Weyoun 6 remains?

Kilana2

I know, the novels dealt with that questions, but not everybody has read them.

Nr. 6 was defective, from the Dominion's point of view. The Female Founder said after Weyoun 8 was shot by Garak that this was the last Weyoun.

After leaving the dead Nr. 6 in Odo's hands there is a lot of room for speculation, though.........:)

So, what did they say in the novels?

I doubt Weyoun's remains were anything special, presumably by that point Starfleet had killed hundreds if not thousands of Vorta, but they probably would have wanted to do a post-mortem on such an important one.

Then - whatever they do with dead bodies in the 24th century - shoot them into the nearest star or atmosphere where they can burn up seems to be popular in sci-fi generally.

I don't know. I can imagine Starfleet had respect for war dead and collected the bodies of Jem'Hadar/Vorta/what-have-you and probably delegated a transfer protocol at the end of the War, if not during lulls in-between.

The question remains open if the Dominion really cared to collect Jem'Hadar or Vorta bodies for their own cultural purposes or just let Starfleet do whatever, like I imagine the Klingons did once-upon-a-time. The bodies might be good for cloning, but then I imagine they have a central database of genetic samples that they use instead.

Odo cremated Weyoun 6 and placed his ashes into his bucket. The O'Briens cat got into Odo's quarters through the ventilation hatch and used the ashes as kitty litter. No one had the heart to tell Odo and he never noticed.

I don't think anyone in this therad answered the question seriously. I'm very disappointed.

I guess he was dumped into space.
