Avocado that photographs as tenne when filmed by a professional cinematographer. Right.

Professionals make mistakes, too.

Point taken; I meant no offense to the cinematograhers (whom we've actually been lauding in another thread, btw!).

I am an avocado believer, though I doubted for years. The Word of Theiss converted me.

Anybody else remember tenne as the name of the "gold" color listed in Technical Manual? I was stumped for years as a kid what that meant. It is no crayola color, for sure. Finally found out it means "tawny" more or less.

Here's the question:

OLDER style of TOS era shirt?

Or the new Abrams movie design?

The "Cage" and "WNMHGB" shirts seemed more realistic looking in some respects. A ribbed turtleneck always seems like something a real-life deep space crew would wear rather than ones with pointed black collars.

Did you notice in NuTrek how no matter how hard they wanted the command color to look the incorrect color of gold/yellow it often appears the correct green depending upon the lighting? Just watch the characters as they walk, or when the camera moves -- the color constantly changes.

Never a dull moment. 45 years later and nothing has changed.

Blue. Scientic mind.

No gold for me, thankyouverymuch. My boss is retiring next year and I'd rather slit my throat than be the new Division Director.
