Also, almost any Alan Parson's albums would make great films, as well as Rick Wakeman's pre-born-again works.

GREEN DAY'S last album, "American Idiot", is being adapted into a MUSICAL.
--(Singer) BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG collaborated on the script with (Tony Award-winning stage director) MICHAEL MAYER, who will also direct it.
--The show will follow at least three working class "characters" from "American Idiot". . . including Jesus of Suburbia, St. Jimmy and Whatsername . . . as they, quote, "express their individuality in a mass-media culture."
(--If you don't know, "American Idiot" is a concept album about suburbanites who are striving to create a place for themselves in an oppressive world.)
--The show is scheduled to run from September 4th through October 11th at the Berkeley Repertory Theater in California. (--Select tickets are already available. For information, hit up this link . . .)
--The show will feature all the songs from "American Idiot" . . . as well as a few new ones from Green Day's next album, "21st Century Breakdown", which hits stores on May 15th.
