What book are you currently reading?

Book Group's current book is Contact by Carl Sagan. Never read it, but I've seen the film a few times. Only two chapters in and the differences are refreshing. I already anticipate this will be more satisfying than the film.

I'm still working my way through "Life of Pi", and I'm also reading "The Wind-up Bird Chronicles", which is easily the best thing I've read in 2011.

I'm not the reader I used to be, and I suck at doing anything about that.

There's also those two Raymond Chandler collections, but I'm taking a break from those. I can only read that stuff but so much.

I'm about a third of the way through And Another Thing the sixth book in the Hitchhikers trilogy.

So far it's pretty decent. Of course it's apparent it's not Adams, but at times Colfer manages to surprise me and come up with something that I feel would have been on Adams' level. Eager to see how this one turns out.
