I recently finished Planet of the Apes for my book group (next week is the meeting). I can either start The Hobbit, which is our next book and which I just read in the past year to my daughter or continue my slog through Invertebrates: A Complete Synthesis.

Just read Douglas Reeman's "Battlecruiser" - dunno what next...
At the moment i am reading star trek myriad universes series-this one is shattered light.
Is it any good? I own a copy, but I haven't got around to reading it yet.
The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill.
It's excellent.
I've started on Joseph Conrad's The Secret Agent. There was a sale on classics in a bookshop in town, I determined to make myself a little better read.
1632 by Eric Flint (Chapter 7 and it already looks like another winner.)
Fuzzy Nation by John Scalzi
its pretty interesting so far. some of the architect stuff is dry, but still fairly good. i'm about 200 pages into it and its getting better as i go.
Just finished Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. Now I'm reading Anathem by Neal Stephenson.

Currently, i am reading Chinese Cinderella
I'm in the middle of reading Christopher's The Buried Age (as part of my favorite ST novels re-read), Patricia Cornwell's The Body Farm (part of my Scarpetta series re-read) and tomorrow I will start reading A Choice of Catastrophes.
Yes I'm enjoying Quarter Share and an about 1/3 the way through it. I like that there are a couple of others already in the series with how it is set up.
