What book are you currently reading?

I recently finished Planet of the Apes for my book group (next week is the meeting). I can either start The Hobbit, which is our next book and which I just read in the past year to my daughter or continue my slog through Invertebrates: A Complete Synthesis.

I'm reading Star Wars Legacy of the Force book 9: Invincible, and the novelization of The Last Starfighter.

Both are fun reads.

I've started on Joseph Conrad's The Secret Agent. There was a sale on classics in a bookshop in town, I determined to make myself a little better read.

Almost done with the Vic Armstrong book; also started re-reading the novelization of Star Trek III, which I picked up at my local bookstore yesterday.

I'm in the middle of reading Christopher's The Buried Age (as part of my favorite ST novels re-read), Patricia Cornwell's The Body Farm (part of my Scarpetta series re-read) and tomorrow I will start reading A Choice of Catastrophes.

I just ordered used on Amazon:

Shards of Honour (Vorkosigan)" by Lois McMaster Bujold;

"Quarter Share" by Nathan Lowell

based on recommendations and some reviews I've seen I'm up for some space opera in a week or so.
I've read Quarter Share and it's an enjoyable read. When I have the money I plan to pick up the next one.
Yes I'm enjoying Quarter Share and an about 1/3 the way through it. I like that there are a couple of others already in the series with how it is set up.
