I do t think that counts as a MCU movie. Just like Venom and the Fox X-Men movies don't. At least right now. Sooner or later they will all be connected through the Multi-verse concept.

Yeah, I was being flippant. It is a very good movie though. I would really only make time to rewatch the Guardians and Dr Strange movies plus maybe the Avengers movies if they're on TV. However, I've gotten pretty bored with the superhero schtick - be it either DC or Marvel.

I didn't care for that fight either. I think the conflicts between the characters could have been handled better and in a different way.

Agreed; a pointless wrestling / blast match was not necessary to move the story forward, and again, Spider-Man as MCU debut aka sales pitch was more of a distraction to a scene that should have focused more on the attempt to capture Bucky.

To me their is only 1 bad one in Thor 2 and only 2 on the cusp of being bad and that is Ed Norton's Hulk movie and Captain Marvel. Action scenes save them and even though I don't like Captain Marvel as a character I do like watching her kickass. Great moment in Endgame is when she just destroys the alien spaceship.
I quite like some of those, and even the worst is better than Iron Man 2.

Captain America: Winter Soldier
Avengers
Avengers: Endgame
Guardians of the Galaxy
Iron Man
Spiderman: Far From Home
Black Panther
Captain America: Civil War
Captain America: First Avenger
Spiderman: Homecoming

I haven't seen Black Widow or the newest one yet.

Disney does not consider it part of the Marvel "cinematic universe." It was very clearly a "multiverse" production.
Yeah, I know but I don't care about the bullshit marketing labels that Disney/Marvel use to make the run of movies seem somehow special. I am glad they left Venom, Deadpool, X-Men, Ol' Uncle Tom Cobley and all out of it - it was a really overstuffed pudding just as it was.

  1. Guardians of the Galaxy
  2. Avengers: Endgame
  3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  4. The Avengers
  5. Avengers: Infinity War
  6. Thor: Ragnorok
  7. Captain America: Civil War
  8. Black Panther
  9. Iron Man
  10. Spider-Man: Homecoming

I liked Iron Man 2 as it was the first time we got to see some iconic characters working together on screen. Yes, it rambled a bit as a "plot" but as a story that is part of a larger interconnected universe I really appreciate it for the character moments and some of the action scenes that were pretty cool at the time.
