I don't think that's how this works. Unless you want to consider A New Hope as a prequel to Empire Strikes Back or TOS a prequel to TNG.

Prequel: Most of the bible.
Current affairs: Look out the window.
Sequel: Revelation.

Some may argue that Revelation is current, and we are still making our way idly to the end of the end of the world.

I don't consider fiction and mythology to be a prequel or sequel to real life.

Videogames manage some decent prequels, like Metal Gear Solid 3 and Devil May Cry ... 3. Hmmm. Maybe it just needs a 3 in the title to be a good prequel?

Bioshock Infinite might be a little contentious but I like it better than the previous titles.

as far as TV goes, I like Better Call Saul better than Breaking Bad, and I don't think I'm the only one.
