Prequel: Most of the bible.
Current affairs: Look out the window.
Sequel: Revelation.
Some may argue that Revelation is current, and we are still making our way idly to the end of the end of the world.
I don't consider fiction and mythology to be a prequel or sequel to real life.
Bioshock Infinite might be a little contentious but I like it better than the previous titles.
as far as TV goes, I like Better Call Saul better than Breaking Bad, and I don't think I'm the only one.

I dont know if it's unorthodox but young Guinan in Picard season 2 was wonderfully acted
She was easily one of the standout, great things about a mostly terrible season of episodes.
And as much as I dislike Season 2, I love this actress and her take on younger Guinan.
Wersching's Borg Queen was fantastic too.
I like or love most of the characters from the first 2 seasons. I will forever lament that they never made a third season of Picard that wasn't aligned with the rest of the show.

How about Young Guinan in TNG Rascals?
She was better than young Keiko.
Who was also young Guinan in Sister Act.
