What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

25 years ago. When I still had a lot of hair.
How much hair do you still have?

I can see some Trek Conventions where all the guys who are Cosplaying as Captain Pike all have the Anson Mount Hair.

According to sources, his hair is arranged at 4" going straight up.

Hey if your ever feeling exposed and want to cover that up I got something for you to wear. :)

Because he wasn't completely stupid?
I found my first Grey hair when I was twenty-four. I was completely Grey by thirty-five. Big frigging deal, I am now 65, have bus driver's arm, and for the most part am fine.
Back in the previous millennium I once read that KIng Louis II of Hungary and Bohemia (1506-1526) had some grey hairs by the time he died. And that might not seem impressive until you realize that 1 July 1506 to 29 August 1526 was his entire lfte span, not the length of his reign.

Whenever I think about Shatner's age, I'm reminded that my grandfather was only a few days younger than him, but sadly passed almost a decade ago. I wish grandpa had managed to stay in as great health as Bill's in! Unfortunately, he just didn't win the genetic lottery.
Whippersnapper.;)

My dad was two months younger than Shatner and Nimoy. He passed in 2021, right before their birthdays.

I was fine with the early TOS season 1 uniforms. But what's dumb is making big changes of the uniforms every couple of years. RL uniforms do evolve, but there are also long periods in which they stay the same.
