What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

In this scenario, the only person Rick Berman owes an apology to, is Terry Farrell. It is honestly no one else’s business.
The Trek Fandom cares & wants to know.

But since I doubt he'll ever apologize, much less to Terry or Publically, it's a moot point.

It is the only way to reasonably live in this world. Pretty much across the board.

I used to really like the dynamic between Kate Mulgrew and Jeri Ryan in VOY until I learned more…

Just enjoy the shows.

TV was made: A lot of it is very good to this day.

The disastrous goings on behind the scenes is a whole different and entertaining story in itself.

It was another world, in another culture. I don’t believe for a moment that Star Trek was unique at the time in terms of sexism among TPTB.

Its history. Generally, we do better now and I think that’s more important than a redundant apology all for for the benefit of the valorous White Knight: Kamen Rider Blade.

I do always get a bit of a chuckle when these arguments focus on Deep Space Nine. Everything that is wrong with the show is because of that dastardly Rick Berman. Everything right is the because of other people.

Not all of the fandom actually cares, as is ilustrated by the... well, too many pages on this thread to look back and count. You're most certainly in the minority on this.

It's more accurate for you to say, "I care about this and I want to know."

Not really fair to speak for a large amount of people.

Fair enough, I care for it.

If I’m running a business, and I’ve got an employee who’s continually late and being an unproductive drag on resources coming up to me demanding a raise or a promotion, the last thing I’m gonna do is just give it to them because everyone else is getting them.

Happened recently at the shop. Early this year a General Service Technician was given a raise and promotion to Master Tech, then went AWOL for two weeks. Wouldn't respond to phone calls or text messages, leaving the rest of the shop in the lurch. Store Manager finally had to call the Area Director and fire him and remove him from the payroll. Technician showed up a few days later like nothing happened, wanting his job back. He was escorted off the premises.
