Anyhow. Today I tried a new smart-sporty combination: beige jacket (new!), khaki shirt, dark blue jeans, dark blue tie, and khaki sneakers. I was not sure dark blue would work well with beige, but I think it totally did. I also showed off my last acquisition, a nice trilby hat (not pictured).

I love you so much for wearing sandals with leopard print socks.Today's version of my uniform: jeans, black elliptical tee, black bag. This time with black MBT sandals and leopard print socks, simple silver/pearl earrings, and a beaded necklace (shades of purple and white) made by a Hopi artist. What a fashion magazine would call a statement necklace, for sure.
Just for the record, no, I do not normally wear socks with sandals. Only when I feel like showing off a really cool pair of socks.
^Then they should know that I'm way too argumentative and high maintenance to fit the Manic Pixie Dream Girl stereotype.
I most definitively don't. More like Captain Bertorelli. But I'll bet he doesn't sound like Alan Rickman.Holy shit. You do look like Alan Rickman!
Thanks! It was love at first sight: I needed a light-coloured jacked in my wardrobe, and it definitively hit the spot. And to tell you a horrible secret about that jacket... I had my sleeves rolled back under it.Dapper! I love the jacket, classic without being dull.
Love the collar. Just the right amount of asymmetrical, but no more.
Yesterday I had another shindig to attend, so it was the beige jacket again, off-white trousers, white-and-brown bi-colour shoes, burgundy shirt, no tie. (I'm totally a maverick! ...or not.)
