What are you watching???

Mixology.

Fantastic new comedy.

Season one is set during the course of one night in real time in a bar as 10 people try to hook up in a singles bar.

No quite real time, they go back and forth and show what's happening in parallel, but it's a fantastic framework to hang a comedy off.

I'm watching through Veronica Mars for the first time. I just finished up the first episode of Season 2. While I'm not trying to rush or anything, my goal is to watch the entire series and be able to see the movie before it leaves theaters.

I watched Arrow, and then the pilot of The 100. That show has some potential. Yeah, there's a few CWisms like everyone being very pretty, and the randomly inserted pop songs, but it has a strong sci-fi premise and a few well known genre vets in the cast. Though, Alessandro Juliani is pretty much playing Gaeta again.

From Dusk till Dawn: The Series.

Don Johnson last week, Robert Patrick this week.

They are certainly bringing in the b-listers as fancy wallpaper.

Still making my mind up.

Speaking of Lost Girl, I looking at a very young Zoie "Dr Lauren" Palmer on Instant Star right now, as a punk with dreadlocks and a completely rock-star lifestyle attitude.

Bangkok Hilton (1989). I remember this as one of the first of the more adult-themed programs I watched with my parents. Enjoyed it this time around as well.

Okay, that just blows my mind.

What the heck is Instant Star? A talent competition?

I just finished Season 3 of Venture Bros.

With my crazy schedule, I'm going to try to get through Season 4.

I'm supposed to film my Bane impression for an acquaintance in Singapore. I may also do a Dr. Girlfriend/New Jersey accent for a couple of other acquaintances.

The Robinsons: Lost in Space - The 2004 pilot/remake of the 1960s Lost in Space series that obviously was never picked up.

It was pretty dull, and could have used a few more rewrites in the script area.

Instant Star is a high end 30 minute ultradrama for 20 somethings about a 15 year old who wins a singing competition similar to American idol and how it changes her life from high school wallflower to rock diva as she has to now adapt to a very adult lifestyle.

The show started in 2004 and lasted 4 years, starring Smallville's Legion of Superheroe's Saturn Girl. :)

Zoie as Patsy

(but not with dreadlocks like she has later in the series.)
