Although, I wouldn't mind seeing some actual impossible missions where the franchise lead unexpectedly dies, or no one completes the mission, and the bad guy wins.

I'm thinking in Mission Impossible Fallout the bad guys almost won

He said "The last" Mission Impossible, and I took him at his word, that this was the end, and the franchise could be retooled for a younger, taller actor, although Gingerbread could have meant "The last one, so far".

I meant it's the last Mission Impossible movie with this current cast. Not sure if they will do more and Final Reckoning did not fare so well at the box office

Started watching season 3 of Reacher. After the underwhelming season 2, this has been a big improvement. Is there something about Amazon shows where they take a huge dip in the second season before improving (Jack Ryan)?

This weekend was Resident Alien, Murderbot, a popcorn flick on Amazon called Heads of State (John Cena and Idris Elba), Nautilus, and Rick and Morty. Also watched The Sandman season 2 part 1, and Sinners, which is an excellent movie.
