What are you watching???

I've spent the last 20 years thinking that Drop the Dead Donkey was also Smack the Pony, so I never gave the bugger the time of day.

A British version of the Newsroom, framed by real world breaking news, made between 1990 and 1998.

Woo!

Rounding off, the second season.

I’ve been all over the place watching different movies and series trying to find something interesting (much less entertaining). After two bad movies, found one that was pretty ok (not worth mentioning though) and some series that might stick:

Murderbot (this one sticks…watch ‘em as they come out, been pretty good so far. Saving the books for after watching the series).

Passenger on Britbox (What a strange series this has turned out to be. We thought at first perhaps a “Stranger Things” type story but no that’s not it. Several episodes in we think we figured out what it's about but it really is a weird little set of episodes so far. We’ll keep watching).

And my slow watch of Voyager kicked in again after some time to get over those not so good season 2 episodes...

VOY: S2E12 “Resistance” (Really good Janeway episode and you cannot go wrong with Joel Grey).
VOY: S2E13 “Prototype” (Putting aside the fact that Janeway just up and gave B’Elanna carte blanche to fix some unknown robot found floating in space without regard for security or safety because “science and exploration", this was a pretty good B’Elanna episode).

Game of Thrones season 3 episode 9 "The Rains of Castamere" aka the "Red Wedding" episode. Still one of my all-time favorite TV episodes (And yes, it's quite bloody no matter how many times you watch it).

We started up a new one...

Dept. Q S1E1-2 (Another strange one that looks like just another grumpy, ptsd police detective who is having to deal with things and is sarcastic and nasty to everyone. But, it is actually an interesting crime mystery but he does have to deal with things).

Amazon Prime Video has basically doubled the amount of commercials, so at this point you might as well pay the extra $2.99 (which you know will go up eventually, multiple times).
