What are you watching???

Well, I might as well post this, needed to distract myself today so finished ST Prodigy. This series was some of the best Star Trek I’ve watched in a long time!
Yesterday:
Ascension I
Ascension Part II (Murph: “pew pew pew pew pew”)

Today…two Janeways all the way:
Brink
Touch of Grey
Ourobouros Part I (“…three heads and Zero”)
Orobouros Part II (I will miss hologram Janeway, wait I can start at S1E1 again)

Please, please, please do a season 3!

Ion airs a bunch of episodes of shows in a row every day -- Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, Criminal Minds, Blue Bloods, Hawaii Five-0, etc. I have an episode of Criminal Minds on right now for background noise while I work. It's the backdoor pilot for the Gary Sinise spinoff and the writing is very bad. First is the idea that the FBI has this team that can go to other countries and just do whatever because law enforcement in these other countries are either corrupt or incompetent. Second, the exposition dumps to explain who these new characters were was very clunky.

last night I watched Royal Rumble 1991 and Wrestlemania VII and one of the last 1991-1992 matches of Saturday Nights Main Event on Peacock. some of the stuff with heel Sgt Slaughter was just weird. that and the tag team of Hogan with Psycho Sid vs Undertaker and Ric Flair for Saturday Nights Main Event and whatever went on on Wrestlemania VII, just too damn weird even for a wrestling fan lol

Today Im watching Summerslam 1992 and Wrestlemania VIII and some 1992-1993 stuff of WWF Superstars on Peacock. Wish they would add the Superstars match of Randy Savage vs Roberts where Jake Roberts uses the cobra

Just watched The Hobbit Trilogy over the last three days, watching the extended editions for the first time. Its still a mediocre trilogy, and honestly I think its much worse then Rings of Power, and it generally looks worse too even though it was a big budget movie trilogy. The extended Editions, unlike with LOTR, are probably the inferior versions of the films as well, just adding more bloat to an already bloated mess, but at least some of the background dwarves got a few more scenes.

Its admittedly hard to compare three movies to a TV show, but I know I felt way more annoyed watching the Hobbit EE movies then I do watching RoP.

The Mind of the Married Man.

HBO Sitcom about Love and marriage for grownups.

Checked Wikipedia to find a consensus.

"Dated bullshit, straight out of the 90s."

This confused me.

It's not dated bullshit from the 90s?

Oh.

Extremely dated bullshit from 2002.

Downton Abbey S1E6

Previously forgot to mention Voyager viewings from season 7:
Nightingale (It was hard to watch Harry try too hard to be a hard ass captain)
Flesh and Blood, Parts I and II. (Is every single decision Janeway has made going to bite her in the ass?)
Shattered (Uh, hmm…constantly warning of the temporal prime directive and then breaking it)
Lineage (perhaps now Torres will accept that certain side of her?)

Last night:
Prophecy (oh, now she’ll finally accept it?)
Void (Janeway hands out pies hoping it will encourage cooperation. Turns out it’s Seven who is the better cook).

I am determined to get through these mostly unseen rest of Voyager episodes (second half of season 6 through season 7) so that I have seen them rather than read about what happens. I am making myself keep my eyes open and watch (kinda like A Clockwork Orange). I am occasionally entertained so it’s worth it.
