One of my favorite lines from 30 years ago, turns out to be homophobic.
John and Dexter have to share a hotel room, and a bed, so Dexter says "I got three rules in life: 1, I don't sleep with men. 2, I don't sleep with white men. And 3, I don't sleep with ugly white men." (He meant share a bed to slumber in, and they did eventually, after a dozen eggs were used to create a border between the two lads.)
Several episodes back a gay guy shows up to make amends to John, this 90s sitcom is about the AA twelve step program a lot. The gay guy apologizes to John for seducing him, and making love to him years earlier when they were both drinking heavily. John then spends 20 minutes freaking out that he's been secretly gay his entire life, which is shameful and disgusting to John, but if he is gay he'd best start living his authentic life... Which is when the gay guy from the beginning of the episode returns and apologizes for saying that he slept with John. It never happened. John just watched while he fucked another dude.
I wonder if episodes like this make it into syndication?

Was waiting around last night and turned on the TV. There was Leonardo, a new show (at least to me) with Aidan Turner from Poldark--dramatizing the youth of Leonardo Da Vinci

Finished Never Have I Ever (all 3 seasons) on Netflix - a show that really elevates the teen comedy with heart and lots of truth. As usual, watching House of Dragons, What We Do in the Shadows, Harley Quinn, She Hulk, Lower Decks, Resident Alien, and Archer.
I've been doing a rewatch of Better Call Saul. Last year I only could make it up to Season 4. Now I have the entire series available so I can rewatch it all. The first season is a lot better the second time around.

Never have I Ever's producer Mindy Kaling also made the Sex Lives of College Girls. Both shows are semi-autobiographical about different regions of Kalings life.
