Got Covid last week so I couldn't watch Chip and Dale with my nieces but maybe this week.

Last Week Tonight & Westworld on Sunday. Last night we finished How to Build a Sex Room and started Never Have I Ever. Upcoming - Motherland: Fort Salem, What We Do In The Shadows, Only Murders in the Building, Resident Alien, Reservation Dogs, Harley Quinn, and She-Hulk.

Attack of the Cybermen.

The change from 4 x 20 minutes episodes to 2 x 40 minutes episodes is jarring.

Lytton is a fun character.

Although Cyber conversion shouldn't work on a Dalek clone precisely because the Daleks hate Cybermen so much. Whether his "Dalek" personality would live on as a Cyberman, or he'd just explode, the last thing the Daleks would want to see is seeing the Cybermen stealing their ##it.

Brace yourselves: I post at work and had all last week off, so this covers the past 10 days or so...

I’ve been watching 2-3 episodes of “Elementary” on Hulu every night. Currently on S5. Pretty good show. For whatever reason I never watched it while it was on the air.

  • Last Week Tonight - net zero being a boondoggle wasn't new, but nevertheless depressing.
  • House of the Dragon - pretty good. Never thought I'd see *that* much of Matt Smith!
  • The Sandman, episode 10 - Two of my favorite stand-alone issues. I was very pleased.
  • Motherland: Fort Salem - series finale. Seemed a bit rushed, but I don't know when they were told this was their last season. Still, a fairly satisfying tie-up. I'll miss the world they built and the characters.
  • What We Do in the Shadows - as usual, a clever and funny episode.
  • Only Murders in the Building - season finale. Damn good, lots of nice twists, the best of which (IMO) came at the very end.
  • Reservation Dogs - I can't praise this show enough. Funny, heartfelt, relatable - this show proves that if you do a good enough show about a specific culture, you can make universal points about being human.
  • Resident Alien - what can I say? Alan Tudyk is a Treasure. Asta, D'Arcy, Max, Sahar, Sherrif Mike and Deputy Liv, Ben and Kate... I love these people! And Linda Hamilton is *scary*!
  • Never Have I Ever - we're watching season 2 now and it's just a joy. Very funny.
