I don't remember the last time I cried and laughed at the same time like I did last night. An unforgettable experience and Friday is season two night.

I watched Fantastic Beasts yesterday on TV. It struck me that the Obscurus is a metaphor for whatever about our true self we think we have to hide or change and the consequences of doing so. Maybe I'm dense to not have seen it before.

We watched the newest ep of Y: The Last Man and are now watching Wings, because I only saw an ep here and there. Steven Weber is my fave (I have A Type). They're so young! Of course, I'm actually younger, but even then I wasn't as cute.

Just did a rewatch of the original (aka Japanese version) The Ring. Its ok, but I think in this one case the remake is a bit better. The original Ring doesn't have much tension. Sure there is a countdown to death, but its too slow paced and feels like they have all the time in the world. I like the backstory and we get a few good spooky scenes, but overall I'd say that its just ok. I'm interested in seeing how the sequels are, I know the sequels to the US remake are supposed to be pretty bad but I don't really know anything about the Japanese sequels.

mixed up the airing of episodes. Apparently crosetti died, It will come up two episodes from were I am.

So far this week, we caught up on Doom Patrol and watched the season finales of What If and Archer.

Tonight: the premiere of GHOSTS and the series finale of THE OUTPOST.

One show dies and another is born. It's the circle of life.

Wow. I re-watched The Man Trap and Charlie X tonight. It's been 20+ years since I've seen any TOS and I feel hit by a brick. Damn these are good! And the actors are fantastic! It's like I'm seeing them for the first time. I may do a re-watch thread to capture my thoughts.

I've also been watching episodes of Eagleheart and I watched the first episode of The Babysitters Club, which is great and reminds me of the books I read as a kid but updated really well.
