What are you watching???

Dark Knight Rises was on last night and we ended up watching it - loved Anne's Catwoman, loved the intricacies of Talia's plot, still hated Bane.

We watched the rest of Masters of the Universe: Revelations and I actually liked it! Very pleasant surprise and great voice cast.

Finished season six, part a early this morning, started season six, part b of The Sopranos earlier tonight.

Watching 'Chasing It', fourth episode of season six part b via HBO Max now.

Finishing off the second season of Anything but Love.

Richard Lewis and Jamie lee Curtis sitcom 1989 - 1993.

Season one is hilarious because they have the same hair cut.

I just had the misfortune to watch the Jodorowsky's Dune documentary. It was a horror show. Jodorowsky is an idiot, all of his sycophants who were interviewed were possibly even stupider, the pretension levels were off the charts and I really could have done without clips from the idiots completed films. He was an arthouse hack incapable of making a film that anyone outside of the most pretentious of snobs could even bother to sit through, and his opinion of his own work, and the other people's opinion of his work, was completely unearned by anything shown in the documentary.

If his version of Dune had been made it not only would have been easily the worst possible version of a Dune film, it quite possibly would have been the worst film ever made. Fuck this boring and frustrating documentary, and I'm glad that Alejandro Jodorowsky never got to turn his horrible idea of Dune into an actual film.

Just watched Legends of Tomorrow. Now for Riverdale.

I was amazed by the new Riverdale this week.

First time in 5 years it didn't suck,

Why?

No Archie.

K J Apa was missing, and Sprouse was in there for 5 seconds.

Something to do with Covid maybe?

Yup, I do not know if Covid is responsible for this clever script, but they did have to shut down the set for covid recently.

How it Ends.

Movie set on the last day of Planet Earth.

Zoe Lister-Jones walks about having existential conversions with a lot of other b-list tv actors.

Yeah, we watched the previous week's ep and I was like, I think sharks have been jumped, and then we watched this week and it was WOW. Mark Consuelos is always pretty good, but he impressed the hell out of me here! His son Michael also did a terrific job as his younger self.

I watched Supergirl, Stargirl and What If? this morning, watched the latest season of the Netflix Transformers cartoon, 2 episodes of Parks & Rec and the first episodes of Jupiter's Legacy and Sweet Tooth yesterday. I'm hoping to get to the 2 new Archer episodes this morning, and the new episodes of Clear Skies and Certifiably Endgame's Star Trek Online playthrough waiting for me on Youtube sooner rather than later.

Watched some older episodes of SVU... miss 1.0 sooo bad. The writing is nowhere near as good now imo. It was some s7 and s8 stuff.

Final Fantasy Kingsglaive
Amazing Spider-Man 2
Yellowbeard
Castlevania Season 4
Bram Stoker's Dracula
