What are you watching???

Downloaded IMDBtv to my Xbox One this morning, watching Leverage: Redemption 'The Panamanian Monkey Job' now.
I downloaded IMDbtv to my Roku for the same reason but haven't started watching yet. Are you enjoying it so far?

DD and I finished Sherlock and are taking a break from Elementary. It's been a lot of Holmes lately. We started Downton Abbey - three episodes in and we are loving it!

Watching Loki and some of the CW hero stuff but also watched the first two (of three) Fear Street movies on Netflix. Boy some people getting their panties in a twist over at IMDB with the first one in 1994 and whether it feels right. It seems to me it's getting that Scream vibe of the time well enough but I was too much an 80s kid to get worked up over the details of the period. 1978 is appropriately more of a slasher and I think the CG gore could be a little more viscous and visceral it's not bad. More victim POV than the killer than in the old stuff. Sadie Sink sealed the deal for me as far as watching.

I've got the fourth episode, 'The Tower Job,' playing now. I'm liking the show, so far, and I think Noah Wyle's fixer is a nice addition to the team.

I finished NCIS: New Orleans this morning. I must say that I thought the seventh season was...lacking. But now I will move on to Leverage: Redemption.

Tried to go watch Black Widow 3D at the Cinemark Lufkin, but the power went out twice in the first hour. So, I got two rain check passes & left.

I finished the first half of Leverage: Redemption. It was definitely entertaining. I'm looking forward to the second half in the fall.

Just finishing the 4th season of ER. Never seen the first 4 before as it was around season 5 where I jumped in many years ago when my sister got a few seasons on VHS or DVD - Can't remember, which format.

Currently, The Bad Batch, then I may start on Shogun. (Picked it up from one of the local charity stores yesterday).

I've also been watching The IT Crowd for the first time recently.

Decided to take a look at Leverage: Redemption since I like Noah Wyle (though not enough to watch The Librarians). Anyone watch the original Leverage? It's like the most family-friendly, stakes-free show about con artists ever made. Are these characters ever in jeopardy? Do their cons ever fail?

Last night: Westworld (1973), streamed on HBO Max.

Fun movie, with great performances by Yul Brynner and a young James Brolin, and an appearance by Majel Barrett. Not sure why the robots could bleed red, but didn’t short out and burn when they were shot. A wonderful overestimation of the capabilities of 1970s technology.

Burn't through Loki in 2 days - Enjoyable and crazy.

Need to decide what show to go through next. Might look for something on Disney's STAR section. I think I fancy something with cable like season structures so like 10-13 eps per season.

Any tips?
