I just finished part one, which focused on the origins of iconic brands Heinz, Kelloggs, Post and Coca Cola. I’m really enjoying this so far, starting part two now.

In my own defense, I didn't subscribe to HBO back in the late 90's. I started my subscription somewhere around 2008-2009. I didn't watch all of Sopranos until 2010! I've only started watching some of the older HBO series catalog in the last year or two via. their HBOGO app. I'm really surprised that all the years on this BBS, that I've never seen any word or discussion of the series before. These episodes focused on the origins of brands Mars, Hershey, Birdseye, McDonalds and Kentucky Fried Chicken.
This was a great series, I strongly recommend it. The actor that plays young Colonel Sanders bears a strong resemblance to Randy Quaid, which had me wishing that they had hired the real Randy Quaid for the part, he would have been great.

Last night I started on Yellowstone on the Paramount network. Pretty decent cast lead by Kevin Costner. Popped up on my 'recommended' list on my FireTV. Think I'm going to give this a full watch. The pilot was pretty good, but had quite a few tropes that are wearing thin.

I have not watched "The Boys" and don't think I will. Hubby has been watching it with his best friend and can't keep from telling me about it. I think "The Boys" is a bridge too far for me; there are times where I can barely hang in there with "Preacher."
My wife has been trying to get me to watch this, she’s selling it as “the cowboy version of The Sopranos”, or words to that effect. I suspect she has a bit of a celebrity crush on Kevin Costner, which I can’t really complain about, as she’s tolerated my crush on Kaley Cuoco for years.
