What are you watching???

Ooh I've heard a lot about Good Omens. Is it good though? What's it actually about?

Based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. An angel and a demon, who have secretly become best friends over the centuries, manage the bungle their handling of the placement of antichrist baby. Now the Apocalypse is near and they have to do everything they can to prevent it. They've grown rather fond of Earth--it has all the best restaurants and book shops, you know.

That sounds like fun.

Watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid last night...became one of the classics but got bad reviews in 1969. I enjoyed it, anachronistic music and all!
I am surpised there has not been a remake starring Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio lol

I'm half way through The Librarians season 4. Sad this is the final season.

Whatever happened to that bit of plot where Eve went underwater in some lake and met a strange lady there?

Just finished The Lego Movie 2. Its...alright, but a huge step down from the pretty good first movie. The plot is weak, the characters aren't as good and all the real world stuff takes away from the movie. Also, the "message" is pretty crap. Overall, I don't regret watching this, but if they make a third one I don't know if I'd bother to watch it

Last night: "Julie," an old 1956 thriller with Doris Day and Louis Jourdan.

Apparently it's the movie that originated the cliche of a stewardess having to land a passenger jet after the pilots are disabled.

Finally finished the Librarians. Sad to see the show end. Still the final season was good and almost stand alone with some of the stories being self contained in each episode. The way it ended with Nicole though, didn't expect that.

Again what happened to that bit I think in season 2 where Eve was underwater with some lady in the lake kind of thing, Anyone know?

As I recall, the Ladies in the Lake later tried to recruit Cassandra, who declined their offer, but, yeah, that plot thread kinda fell by the wayside.

Ooh, HOUSE OF WAX with Vincent Price is on TCM tonight. I surely have it on DVD somewhere, but still . . . ..
