What are you watching???

Been binge watching season 1 of Star Trek: Discovery in preparation for the season 2 premier tomorrow night. Hadn't re-watched it since it finished it's initial run. The show is actually much better than I remembered it. Enjoying myself very much.

Busy night tonight, tvwise anyway.

I'm catching up with The Orville from last night, then The Good Place and Discovery. After that, The Punisher at some point over the weekend.

I finished the fifth & final season of Boston Legal last night.

Starting the third season of Syfy's The Magicians via Netflix this afternoon.

I'm just watching season 6 of Shameless, Episode 7.
I'm totally fascinated by this series and would like to watch a few more episodes, but it's 1 AM (in Germany), so 4 episodes today should be enough :(

I'm currently re-watching all the episodes of the Battlestar Galactica series from 2004. It is fascinating seeing how there were tons of clues in it about the final fate of humanity and the Cylons, but I never picked up on when I first saw the series. It is a masterpiece.

Watching an episode of House where the sick guy is the actor who played Riley in Buffy playing a sick marine.

I'm thinking, demon virus.

And in a major coincidence, the last episode I watched was an episode of Monk where the actress who played Anya played a woman who killed her husband in revenge.

I was okay with it. I'm glad it was Denny that floated the idea, and spelled out all the reasons for a straight same sex marriage. Too bad they couldn't get the real Dick Cheney to cameo there at the end, though.

I loved it as I think it was the first same sex marriage on TV at the time. Plus the show was so over the top and stupid that it was completely fitting.

Plus seeing how shows have ended sense then (looks at US House of Cards) it's actually one of the better finales in TV show history. Not famous or anything, just not shit like House of Cards, the first Roseanne, the first Will and Grace finales.

Went out to the AMC Lufkin to watch A Star is Born (2018), Creed II, and Glass. Had back row, center seats for all three, and a large popcorn & Cherry Coke (refillable for the second & third movies). Had the back row to myself for the first movie, and the theater to myself for the second one. Good times.
