What are you watching???

I thought it was a nice diversion for a couple hours.

Kor

I watched it again on Tuesday night and you know what I was a bit harsh, this will become one of my guilty pleasures... The transformations were good, the story was hokey as hell but mostly what the myths were.

I missed seeing the goddess Isis unless that was her at the very end she didn't do much.

Started House of Cards via Netflix this week, never had an interest having watched the UK original in the 90's but it came highly recommended and now I am hooked. Will take a few weeks to do season 1 to the final season.

ABORT!!! ABORT NOW!!! DO NO WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!

The first two seasons are some great TV, the last 4 seasons are an abomination to the name 'House of Cards'.

You have been warned.

Decided to get back to watching FOX's The Gifted series. Picked where I left off in the first season earlier tonight, up to '3 x 1', the eleventh episode of the first season, now.

Just watched The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Its a decent story with some very good performances, but it is easily 30+ minutes too long and its ending isn't great.

My brother got the Warner Brothers 100 Film DVD collection, which this was included in, and thats probably going to lead to me watching a bunch of movies I usually wouldn't pay much attention to.

I just finished Enter the Dragon. It was decent. The action was good, although the plot was pretty weak. I can definitely see how influential it was, and its worth a watch, but it is definitely a film that was more impressive at the time it came out.

The plot is certainly a bit of a mixed bag... good in some ways and less so in others (IMO). I've also found it odd that in some scenes (the one where Roper is pretending to do badly so Williams can bet on him, for example), the camera work seems a bit strange. We got narrow close ups when a wide shot would work better, because you could see the full action then. Same when Lee is fighting henchmen with the staff. Just my two cents though. :)

Found all five seasons of Boston Legal streaming on Hulu. Never did see how the series ended, so I'm starting from the beginning of the series. I'm four episodes in already, up to 'Change of Course'.
