Well ... she did associate with Lord Byron and other great authors of her day, but she's just not that interesting to me, otherwise. Frankenstein is all she's known for and whilst it's certainly embedded in popular culture, forever, she's pretty much a one-off and not much of a writer, really. If you've ever read the book, as I have, you're likely to agree with that assessment. No ... Cesare Borgia would be a much better subject to make a mini-series after. Everything about him, from his parentage to his lifestyle, to his genius ... he'd be much more entertaining to watch than Mary Shelley's life.Apparently next season they're doing Mary Shelley.

Apparently so!She met a funky time traveler who had a sports car.![]()
I have the Expanse cued up but not sure if I'll like it. Is it too violent and gritty? If so I shall give it the shove. Some shows on Netflix are trash because of that.

Expanse is not like Westworld / GoT violent, but it is set during a intergalactic war, so there are some fight sequences (not every episode).
It's a pretty great show with strong writing, acting and story lines. I'd give it a shot.
