What are you watching???

Lucifer Season 2 Episode 7

Fargo Season 1 Episode 10

Fargo ended up being a decent show. Its problem is that it had about 7 episodes of plot stretched to 10, and by the end all the interesting parts were growing stale, especially Thornton's character who started out as an interesting villain but by the end was way too "perfect" at what he did and it just got boring. Still, I don't regret watching it, but I won't be watching season 2.

Lucifer Season 2 Episode 8

Vixen: The Movie (aka a DVD compilation of her two CW Seed animated shows)

The Vixen animated movie really sucks. Its boring, generic and completely predictable, with a big dose of
"Hero hates being a hero and tries to give away powers until they find out the person who wants the powers is EEEVVVIIIILLLL!!!".
The voice actress is also terrible, and since she's also apparently the live action actress I'm really glad I never saw her Arrow appearance. I thought that the Legends of Tomorrow Vixen was the worst they could do with the concept, but I was definitely wrong. I've seen worse from the CW shows, but this is still boring garbage.

Batman and Bill (2017)

A really great documentary on hulu (I used a free trial to watch) about Bill Finger, his roll in creating Batman and peole trying to get Finger the credit he deserves for the work he did. It really goes into detail, and it pulls no punches. I'd highly recommend it to anyone with even the slightest interest in the topic.

I'm going through Galactica 1980. What a torture. Tons of reused stock footage, FX even cheaper than the usual and some bad writing that not even Movies from Toho's Showa Era had. The only good thing in this is Lorne Greene.

I like the concept, though. After all, this is the event TOS was building up. They should've called it something else. If they had taken it seriously it could've been great. I mean, if Star Trek manages to make good movies about Whales, BSG could've made Boxey and Dillon flying away in motorcycles work somehow. Right ?

The most curious thing is the disclaimer at the end of the Episodes:
"The United States Air Force stopped investigating UFOs in 1969. After 22 years, they found no evidence of extra-terrestrial visits and no threat to national security."

:guffaw:

I wonder... Was this like a common thing in American Television or this is a Galactica 1980 thing ?
