What are you watching???

My best pal wanted to know where "Happy Happy Joy Joy," came from. She thought it was from "Demoltion Man," but I had to be the giant nerd that I am and point out that "Ren & Stimpy" came out first, and sent her the video. Now I have that damn song stuck in my head.

Just started a rewatch of Joan of Arcadia.
It's my carefully considered emotional opinion that Amber Tamblin deserved all the Emmies that Edie Falco got for the years their shows were concurrent.

Go 8-Bit

Celebrities play video games. Dara O'Briain reads autocue from a rotating stage.

Kinda amusing, kinda dull

Believe it or not, a Korean made dramedy called, "Oh My Ghostess", on Hulu. It's about a young girl who somehow dies (we haven't been told how, and her ghost self doesn't know yet either), and comes back as a ghost. She inhabits the bodies of other's periodically until she's "trapped" in the body of a very timid and shy young woman. The ghost is outgoing, and brave, just the opposite. It has subtitles and everything.

I started watching it for whatever reason and I remain hooked through episode 6. It is rather beautifully shot with flashback scenes that actually propel momentum rather than stopping it. It's weird though, how often they use western expressions like "okay", "good morning". I'm enjoying it, It 's kind of quaint.
