What are you watching???

I actually enjoyed it. First episodes are always tricky but it was much funnier than I expected.

"Silence Crew. Sounds like silent screw."

"I don't make mistakes, I make on purposes"

Meet The Devotees

Documentary about online communities sexually attracted to people with disabilities. Some interesting apposing perspectives. I suspect we'll hear more about this sub-culture as the years go by.

David Harewood's "F" Word

Another doc: This one about actors experiencing failure. Very interesting and Harewood has access to some big names (Zachery Quinto, Naomi Harris, Brian Cox, Damien Lewis, Olivia Coleman etc) and his best friend in Hollywood, Lenny James. Lenny had to go back to the UK after Jericho was cancelled to find work to pay for his kids being in school in America.

I mean sure, being an actor playing can be a slog but let's not forget the rewards if you do make it.

"John Adams" with Paul Giamatti

Again...oh, yes!

And, the "extras", with David McCullough, are so very excellent!

I thought David Morse stole every scene playing George Washington in that mini-series, even (and, sometimes, especially) when he was just silently sitting in the background. His soft-spoken potrayal of the first US president simply exuded gravitas.

I have liked him since "St. Elsewhere", and I heartily agree with your Post regarding his performance! :techman:

Elektra

Not as bad a film as some people say, I've seen many worse superhero movies. Still, its not a very good interpretation of the character, its action isn't very good, and its a bit dull. Even as someone who liked the Daredevil film, this wasn't very good. just kind of "meh".

DC's Legends of Tomorrow

Haven't noticed this until now. So there's people I recognise from The Flash (which I lost interest in) and this appears to have the same tone and aesthetic to that show (Saturday morning kids TV) but it has time travel so I'm interested.

If it's basically a bunch of super people traveling through time to change history and put right what once when wrong then I can probably get onboard.
