What are you watching???

I watched Saving Private Ryan for the first time. It was pretty good. It was long, but it didn't feel padded. The effects were also very good. Overall, a solid film.

James Corden's Carpool Karaoke, with Chris Martin of Coldplay.

Backstrom

Hmmm, not sure. It has all the right ingredients and I like Rainn Wilson but I doubt I can commit to it. Castle is my procedural of choice.

Next.

Godzilla, King of the Monsters, streamed on Amazon Video.

I never noticed when I was a kid, but it is so painfully obvious to me now how the Raymond Burr scenes were hammered and jammed into the original film. Overall it is still a lot of fun though. To hell with CGI, Godzilla should always be a guy in a rubber suit, stepping on model cars and knocking over cardboard buildings.

Just because no one is peeking in through your windows, that is not a healthy metric to determine if anyone cares.

...

Idiot Sitter.

I did not know that Topher is short for Christopher.

What an unusual hole in my mind.

Godzilla (1954) original Japanese movie with english subtitles

Its slow and fairly boring, although the actually Godzilla scenes are ok.

Earlier today on Dr Ken

"Topher is a stupid abbreviation of Christopher".

There was also a miniCommunity reunion therein too, with Danny Pudi and Joel McHael.
