What are you watching???

I just wrapped seasons two of both Black Sails and TURN: Washington's Spies, and I enjoyed both a lot more than I thought I was going to.

Both shows take place in the 1700s: TURN focuses, obviously, on the American Revolutionary War, while Black Sails has to do with the pirates of Nassau (and is a kind of a prequel to Stevenson's Treasure Island.)

I've not seen much chatter on either of those shows.

Well, I've seen the first series of Black Sails. I've probably missed the second season airing here but will try and catch up with it when it airs again.

For now, I'm watching Doctor Who with Colditz and Elementary to follow.

Finished Tough Guys earlier. I'm currently recording the Vulcan program with Guy Martin, watching The Pinkertons with Homeland to follow.

Tonight: The Librarians and The Walking Dead

(Which actually sounds like it could be the title of a LIBRARIANS eps.)

Binge watched Jessica Jones.. awesome show, go get it and watch it, you will not be disappointed.

Finished "The Man From UNCLE". Didn't hate it. To bad it was such a disaster at the boxoffice, I wouldn't mind a continuation of the story.

The Murder Detectives

Channel 4 documentary that follows detectives investigating a real murder. Being shown tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday. Fascinating.

You, Me and the Apocalypse

It's a shame they couldn't spend more money on this. It's got some nice stuff going for it but it all feels a bit flimsy (despite having Rob Lowe, Diana Rigg, Jenna Fischer etc... and now June Whitfield as God).

Shhh!

(Spoilers.)

America is a wussy again.

You, Me and the Apocalypse, has been renamed for it's American Broadcast as You, Me and the End of the World.
