What are you watching???

The World's Most Expensive Food

Deeply unpleasant rich people who you wouldn't piss on if they were on fire, eat absurdly over priced foods then we see the people who produce the food. Rummaging through a tray of leaves to find truffles whilst listening to pig noises on headphones was probably the stand out moment.

Catching up with 4 episodes ofTyrant today. Over the weekend, I've also got Blindspot, Haven, Sleepy Hollow, Continuum and Elementary to squeeze in.

Tonight, Doctor Who and Colditz will also be on the tivo.

Kolchak: The Night Stalker, streamed on Netflix.

One of the influences for The X-Files, and as great now as it was when I first watched it in 1974-75.

The Soup had what it seemed like 5 minutes on Killing baby Hitler. :)

I was impressed that Jeb Bush considered the Butterfly Effect. That murdering an infant downstream would create an entirely different present that would be unpredictably worse or better than what we got now, but... I was less impressed that he couldn't remember the name of the movie "Back to the Future".

I just wrapped seasons two of both Black Sails and TURN: Washington's Spies, and I enjoyed both a lot more than I thought I was going to.

Both shows take place in the 1700s: TURN focuses, obviously, on the American Revolutionary War, while Black Sails has to do with the pirates of Nassau (and is a kind of a prequel to Stevenson's Treasure Island.)

I've not seen much chatter on either of those shows.
