What are you watching???

Girls to Men: Born in the Wrong Body

Part of channel 4's transgender season. Seven and eight year old kids last week but this one about late teens was more interesting. Watching the guy squeeze his left ball to pump up his dick was an image I won't forget in a hurry. Not to mention the operation that preceded it.

Next week, an American summer camp for transgender pre-teens.

Arrow season 4 starts here tonight so I'll be watching that.

Haven is also back and Castle season 7 continues.

You, Me and the Apocalypse - ep3

It's a little on the flimsy side but I'm enjoying it. I wish they'd make a show like this but with a massive budget and genuine worldwide locations. Anyway, the premise and the characters are fun.

But why would people continue to work?

Work or loot?

Still gotta eat.

Getting shot over a can of beans is silly.

But if some #### thinks he can charge $50 dollars for a can of beans, it is S/HE who is the one deserving to be shot!

Some people don't have savings.

It's the hoarding vs. rationing vs. price gouging that would be really interesting.

"Man of the People," Star Trek: The Next Generation Season Six

I never really cared for the episode. The highlight of watching it in HD is seeing details on the costumes I didn't when it aired. Deanna's evening gown is really quite revealing and set must have been cold for that scene. Her star fleet issue gi is made of more than one hue of white. The differing textures showed up in low definition, but the color contrasts were not this stark. Likewise, the grey jump suits worn by science teams in other episodes show up in HD with multiple panels of different textures, several of which seem to be in differing shades of lavender.

The Apprentice (UK)

Always hilarious. "I'm the Swiss Army knife of business." Will probably stick with it to the end.

^ Shame that Chase Utley's not in the lineup (again). Guess we're gonna have to wait till next spring for him to get the Special Delivery. :sigh:

"Schisms," Star Trek: The Next Generation Season Six

Love the idea of this episode. Crew members on the Enterprise are ubducted by aliens a la Whitley Strieber. Didn't really care for the execution though.

Gogglebox

The thing I love most about this show is that you don't have to watch shows like strictly. You get the highlights here with necessary sarcastic commentary.
