What are you watching???

"Disaster," Star Trek: The Next Generation Season Five

I mostly enjoyed this homage to disaster movies of the 70s, however, Ensign Ro in her second appearance comes across as a panicky beeyotch, and the whole situation involving Geordie and Dr. Crusher is one contrivance after another, but the birth of Molly is the highlight of the episode. I kept expecting Keiko to grab Worf by the forehead and give him the Robin Williams bit about passing a bowling ball.

And of course, the episode inspired Stephen Ratliff's infamous Marissa fanfiction saga.

Oh, God, I had forgotten.

Currently watching "Unifcation II." Leonard Nimoy sleep walks his way through the episode and he's still the highlight of the season. It's nice to see Malachi Throne again. The Klingon captain always bothered me for some reason, and now I know he's played by Steven Root. It's Jimmy James from News Radio over pronouncing every line, likely because of his fake teeth. Denise Crosby has little to do, but Data's line to her, "Perhaps you would be happier in another job," was laugh out loud funny.

X Factor

Will be watching this in ten minutes. It's officially reaching the hilarious stage.

Black Adder (Series 1) Episode 5, this was the first episode that I didn't like at all. The rest hasn't been mind blowing but its been generally ok with a few funny jokes. This episode was a chore to get through.

"A Matter of Time," Star Trek: The Next Generation Season Five

"Phasers. There were no phasers in the twenty second century."

No, Worf. There were not. Until there were.

The Flash season premiere, what an excellent episode. I'm so far behind already this season on everything. I was hoping to catch up tonight but the Mets game is on.

Dodgers/Mets

I turned the game off after the Dodgers scored the 3 runs. The Mets just had no energy. So I caught up on some more shows. I watched the season premiere and second episode of The Blacklist.

Then I watched tonight's episode of The Flash, The Flash of Two Worlds. When I read the origin comic, I never imagined I would get to see this come to life. I was absolutely giddy when the reproduced the cover. I knew it was going to happen and it still got me.
