What are you watching???

Doctor Who or X Factor

Hand-mines. Davros. Planes stopping in mid-air. Ridiculously over-dramatic music.

Yup, that does it, I'm watching X Factor.

(This is me being serious and not lying.)

I'm glad they're going for "the-funny" this year.

Christopher And His Kind.

Seeing as I watched Selfie with Karen, I figured it was time to watch some of Matt's other work. It was good. Not superb but I found it enjoyable, and a little heartbreaking.

Dead Last

So, I'm watching Smallville, where I'm not enthralled by the pretty eyecandy girl wearing nearly almost nothing, but since the episode is 13 years old, I was curious if she made it big ever, or became "someone". Turned out that she'd been in a super natural Horror comedy TV series with Tyler Labine, but no, sadly, nothing ever became of her career. :(

13 episodes, not awful, and all on on youtube.

Castle

I'm racing through these now. The plots are straight out of "Murder, she wrote" but it's saved by the charisma and chemistry of Fillion and Katic. Robert Picardo just showed up in an episode too so that makes me happy (seeing people on telly that you've actually met is always a cheap thrill).

The gay episode Smallville.

A female shapeshifter pretends to be Lana's boyfriend and makes out with her.

There were weirdly fluid rules back then in 2002 about how Gay people were not allowed on television unless they didn't look gay to stupid people who would complain.

This is England '90

I wish they'd focus more on the funny stuff (like the blonde Miami vice twins) and less on the depressing shit. More rape? Really? Looks like Combo is back next week.

Just watched Star Wars: Return of the Jedi with my son Ian. The circle has now been completed, he has seen the original trilogy. Ugh, he's asking to watch the prequels. I tell him to stick to Clone Wars.

There's 2 live action Ewok movies that are good for under 10 year olds. :)

Clone Wars is done. Does Rebels cut the mustard?

Oh.

Star Wars fan Films blow Star Trek Fan Film out of the water.

...

Still Binging on Smallville.

Again I'm wondering if the child actress in front of me will grew up to be someone... Holy crap, it's 5 from Dark Matter but tiny!

Rewatched "Time After Time" for the first time in forever. What a great movie!

Listening to the soundtrack now.

More Smallville.

I had this horrific moment of laughter half way through season 2 when I remembered "Shit, Lana is going to Marry Lex someday!"

Also I keep wondering how the ignorant think that the Universe works if Clark Kent really was an ordinary human Farmboy after all.
