So many shows that have an intriguing premise fail to go anywhere interesting. Terra Nova was another one. Sometimes it feels like they're so busy celebrating the clever, initial idea that they forget to actually put any work into the show

Hell, I could come up with clever ideas for shows without doing much more work. Didn't Kelly Marcel get a ton of money just for the basic premise of Terra Nova

Terra Nova couldn't last any longer than it did. That's why I don't understand making shows based purely on having a cute premise. Having said that, I kinda want to see "The Refugees" now (answered my own question, haven't i)
