I foundJessica Alba's Dark Angel season 2 out there on the web somewhere, so I'm rewatching that for the first time in decades. I recall it being not as good as the stellar first season (which I have on DVD), and I was correct. Loving Alba, of course, but the human/animal transgenics subplot is mostly just annoying, and having the cliche "will they/won't they?" subplot turn into an infuriating "they can't because of reasons" subplot is, well, infuriating. It was infuriating when She Wolf of London did it ten years earlier, and they should have learned from that.

I have not watched season 2 of Dark Angel in a very long time. Since maybe the late 2000s. I love the first season and have re-watched it a few times, but I never do season 2. I might do a re-watch of both seasons sooner or later. I agree that season 2 isn't as good but I remember that there were some strong episodes and some so good they're bad episodes.

I give up on the show for now (Dark Angel season 2). Threeo stupid eps in a row (including having to babysit a precocious 6 year old). Not even Jessica Alba is worth this suffering.
