What are you watching???

Last night we watched The Princess and the Frog. I liked the older style animation and the sonds were catchy. Plus, Keith David!

Last night I finally saw Disney's animated Hercules. I had to turn off the part of my brain with all the Greek mythology knowledge. :D It was cute. James Woods was fun. I kept making Superman jokes.
I'm a lifelong Disney animation fan, and those are two of my favorites.
I'm still pissed about Once Upon a Time handled Tiana's backstory. One of the things I've loved about the movie was it's jazzy 1920s New Orleans setting, so I was really disappointed OUAT just turned Tiana into a standard fairy tale princess like Snow White and Cinderella.

What's the foundation of the story? If it's new tech being introduced then it still fits.
It is a western that takes place in 1880's Arizona Territory. Tombstone is somewhat loosely on real life events. No new tech is being introduced.

Alice & Jack on Masterpiece
RFDS: Royal Flying Doctor Service
The Daily Show with Michael Kosta

Soap.

Rafiki is so young.

The Ventriloquist Dummy has a new act where he's a mind reader. They blindfold him, and then he can magically figure out which solid objects people are holding up in front of his blind fold, even though he is completely and authentically blind.

"Undone" on Amazon Prime. It's live action that's been run thru a filter to make it look animated. This gives them the opportunity do do lots of hallucinatory mind-bending scenes. The plot involves a young Mexican woman who gets a head injury in an accident, and can suddenly see her dead father, who helps her realize her hereditary powers as a bruja. He wants her to use her ability to travel back-and-forth in time to find out who murdered him. The lead actress is delightful, and the direness of the situation is tempered with lots of wise-cracking and family humor (and family drama).

things I'm watching

binge watching Real World Season 18 on Paramountplus; the rest of Tosh.0 Season 10

on Tubi
-Twins of Evil, Major League II

The last 2 days I've been watching Fallout over on Prime. Think I finished episode 6 late last night. Definitely different, very quirky. Since I'm not at all familiar with the video game and lore, I went in with an open mind. Been very entertained so far... 8/10

Found the Tim Conway Comedy Hour from 1970 on Shout factory.
Last night we watched an episode of Midnight Special from 1973 on YouTube, hosted by the Bee Gees, and featuring a bunch of 60s British Invasion bands. Just awesome for someone who was growing up back then.
