What are you watching???

Love It or List it.

We love this show, love Hilary and David. We even watch Love It or List it Too.

I find myself getting a bit irritated when people don't List It when it's perfectly obvious that they should.

I understand but a lot of those people I feel are there just to be on the show and have no real interest in selling anyway. The only thing that really bothers me about the show is the fake drama. I don't think it's necessary. Hilary and David have such good chemistry, they could do without "Oh no, we have to move a pipe and you're not getting the kitchen done."

^True. It also bothers me that the show seems to prompt the people into being extremely rude to David; I mean, really. Who would speak to a real estate agent, who you're not even paying, like that?

Today, I watched QI and The Graham Norton Show.

My goal to watch all of Airwolf, Seasons 1 - 3 has been put on hold since Netflix and Hulu don't have all episodes....(Grrrrrr).

So, I'm catching up with other shows (old and new).

Of course, I'm watching "The Walking Dead." I have also recently watched the 1970s "Taking of Pelham 1 2 3" with actress Carolyn Nelson (Yeoman Doris Atkins in TOS) in a minor role as 'coed 1.' Yes, I watched it to see Ms. Nelson, but the movie was pretty cool as well. (I have no will to see the remake or 2nd adaptation, because I know I'll be disappointed even though Denzel Washington is in the lead). 8 out of 10

I also saw "Gone Girl." Also impressive. (8 out of 10).

I have "Maleficent" and "Payback: Director's Cut" waiting for me on Netflix.

^ You are correct; not even the very talented Mr. Washington could save the remake of Taking of Pelham 1 2 3. The original is far better. I really enjoyed the original; the entire cast is top-notch. I found the remake too "over-directed" for my taste.

lol....

It was directed by the late Tony Scott. And, yes, he tends to over-direct.;)

It was not his best work, no.

I liked Gone Girl as well. I tired to stay spoiler-free, so I really enjoyed the twist and turns of it.

Going off to watch some TV--maybe Person of Interest or Supernatural.

The Zero Theorem

Certainly interesting, as you'd expect from a Gilliam film but probably not one of his greatest. There's some nice touches that make the world come to life and some nice weird stuff that goes close to the edge but Gilliam has covered this territory before and doesn't really add anything new. Still better than most crap out there though
