I watched the games live on a C-band satellite dish direct feed. The day of the quake was the first game to be played in San Francisco. I had beer and popcorn ready and sitting in my chair. I live about 60 miles from the epicenter of the quake. Before the ABC Network pre-game broadcast started, the feed was on and broadcasting to affiliates from the TV announcers booth, while pregame commercials were being broadcast on local stations, and Al Michaels was saying "I think we're having an earthquake." The feed from Candlestick went out and within seconds the house I was in was shaking. When the feed returned seconds later, it was coming from the Goodyear blimp flying over the ball park with raw video and audio. You could hear the engines and the blimp started to move over the city and the camera was showing the quake destruction around San Francisco.

Hope Springs. I didn't expect to like this as much as I did.
I bought myself for Christmas the complete series box set (Blu-ray) of The Expanse. The extras and bonus features (or lack there of) is disappointing. That being said, the picture and sound quality ARE BEAUTIFUL. I'd even say, on par or better than the 4K streaming version one can access through Amazon. I'm just starting season 6. Man, I really miss this series ....
