What are you watching???

Hindsight.

This week the time travelling heroine reads out the riot act after discovering that her dipsy best friend is indeed shtupping her younger brother even though dipsy had received explicit orders to stand down because of disastrous consequences upstream in the timeline.

"You think I'm reacting poorly? You should have seen Ross when Monica and Chandler started dating. Now, that was reacting poorly!"

"AAAAARGGGH! Stop spoiling the bits of the future I don't want to know about and tell me instead something I need to know... Monica and Chandler? Really?"

(I can't be the only person watching this?)

I think that the best friend and the brother may be my favorite TV couple right now. From their Pulp Fiction reenactment scene to their Beavis and Butthead costumes, I've grown quite fond of the two characters.

The shows are similar conceptually, and Lost Girl definitely has a more "grown-up" tone. But in terms of quality, it doesn't hold a candle to Buffy. Besides, part of what makes Buffy brilliant is the perceived innocence of the Scoobies.

Eh. You've got a point. Although, I'd take the 1st 3 seasons of Lost Girl over the last 3 seasons of Buffy any day. Kenzi rocks! :techman:

If Kenzi and Xander had a baby?

Buffy is gone. It's tied up into a little bow. Finished.

Now, even though every season of Lost Girl is a little worse than the last, what if they turn that around, and next season is ten times better than Buffy ever did?

New episodes of Lost Girl still have to potential to surprise us in ways that reruns of Buffy can't.

I acquired Amber Benson's new novel this morning. Audio book.

She's reading it.

As I go to sleep this evening, it'll be just like as if Tara is sitting by my bedside serenading me.
