We're completely hooked on Beforeigners. We finished season 1 and started season 2. Some truly weird things are going on!

That is one I've found very intriguing. How similar is it to The 4400 (the original version)?

No idea. I've never seen The 4400.

Thousands of people show up all over the world every year, from the Stone age, the Viking age, and the Victorian era. 2 cops - 1 is new and from the Viking era - investigate a murder in Oslo about 17 years after the beforeigners started coming. Societal speculative fiction plus great character development.

Wife was out of town for a few days ... watched WAY too much TV.....
