What are you watching???

Last night: King Charles III on Masterpiece.

An adaptation of Mike Bartlett's play, which imagined the future reign of Prince Charles as a Shakespearean tragedy, King Charles III starred the late Tim Pigott-Smith as the monarch whose conscience sparks a constitutional crisis.

The characters may not reflect the real personas, though Charles may have been the closest (Charles is well-known to have opinions), but they're well drawn, particularly Kate. As an adaptation of a stage play, King Charless III was rather claustrophobic; everything's interior, nor are there many locations.

It was tremendously well done. You really feel for Charles when it's all said and done, a man undone by his principles and manipulated by his family. It was a very moving performance from Pigott-Smith in what I believe was his last filmed work.[/i]

Last night: "The Night Stalker"--the one with the Black Knight.

Which I guess made Kolchak "The Knight Stalker"? :)
