What are you watching???

The bit with the Dogs at the end was good, but it felt like it took three hours to get there.

Yes, the Event was Dumb.

Although the castration of the Washington Monument was pretty funny.

Berserkers and were-jaguars? Oh my.

Best line: "Can't anybody stay dead in this town?"

(Delivered by a character who has already come back from the dead at least one.)

Only five episodes away from the end of Heroes Season 1. I've really enjoyed it, outside of one or two minor flaws. Its been pretty great, and it may just have the greatest cameos ever. Having George Takei, Malcolm McDowell, Stan Lee and Christopher Eccelston all in one show, even if just for a 2 second cameo for Lee, is just amazing. The only thing that sucks is that I know its reputation as a show that goes really downhill after season 1, but I'm still going to enjoy it while it lasts.

I'm not sure where they're going with the dogs thing.

It's all but been made clear the original disappearance is never going to be explained. And that's fine, if they focus on the character development instead of the magic. Now they're adding more weird magic stuff, dogs are inexplicably going berserk. Are they going to be piling on stuff like that for the series with no intention of explaining it?

It took Lost four episodes to make it clear magic was going on, and it was a gradually easing in. By the time the focus was on the magic we already liked the characters. Now Leftovers is going MAGIC MAGIC MAGIC LOTS OF MAGIC and not making any real effort to make us like the characters.

Finished:
Aestecica of a Rouge Hero (A very atypical main character for this type of show I thought if worked well and found it quite humorous.)
Black Bullet (Not bad, but not all that great either.)

Continuum. I didn't care for it at first, but the time-travel stuff is finally getting interesting.

Just watched an episode of Vicious. I can't believe Ian McKellan and Derek Jacobi did a sitcom together.

Now rewatching The Devil's Advocate.
