What are you watching???

The X-Files Season Ten on BluRay.

They really loaded this set with extras.

I've got that myself but haven't had a proper chance to look at it yet though. Just flicking through, I'd have to agree on the extras.

Went and saw Gods of Egypt earlier. As expected, cinema was very quiet for it. I expect more next week for Independence Day.

Right now, episode 9, season 2 of The Last Ship.

Just finished season 2 of The Last Ship. I had spottily watched some of the first season and thought it was OK but didn't expect much. However, I got quite hooked and ended up bingeing the whole thing. It's quite entertaining and conducive to back-to-back viewing.

I reckon I should finish up with that today. Then I'll probably schedule an X-Files rewatch.

I might also rewatch the first Independence Day before we head off to the cinema next Saturday.

"The Black Scorpion."

NOT the terrible superheroine TV series from several years back, but the even older giant-bug movie from the 50s.

Watched Spy earlier. Currently, I'm giving the first episode of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders a go until Thrones is on:)

Ex Machina (2015)

For the first 2/3 its a decent movie .The last act however was terrible, to the point where it makes me regret watching the movie.

Recorded the remake of "Mother, May I Sleep with Danger?" (now with vampires) but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

Just finished a rewatch of Amber Tamblin's 2009 one-season wonder The Unusuals. She stars with Jeremy Renner and a bunch of other characters as a squad of NYC cops with... issues. Not a comedy, not a drama, a bit of both. As the producer describes it, "The cops don't just solve the cases, the cases solve the cops." Very, VERY entertaining and fun. Highly recommended.
