What are you watching???

Broadchurch Season 1 Episodes 6 and 7

Only one episode left. I have a few theories about who the killer could be, but nothing I'm super confident about. It will be interesting to see how it ends.

I found figuring out the killer was easy. The motive, however, was NOT.

Broadchurch is a great show. Season 2 was good, as well.

I'm not sure about watching Season 2. While I like the show, the mystery is the biggest draw, and a lot of the human drama (specifically the dead boy's family) gets on my nerves at times. It seems like Season 2 would be all the drama without the mystery, so I'm not sure yet if I'll end up watching it. Still, I've liked Season 1 pretty well, so I'll probably give season 2 a chance.

Season 2 centers on the trial but also the original mystery that David Tennant's character failed to solve--which got him sent to Broadchurch in the first place. So there's the drama of the trial side by side with the mystery of the older crime of the two dead girls.

Fantastic Four

My expectations - due to all the criticism it received before it was even released - were extremely low for this and as a consequence, I didn't actually think it was that bad. Yeah, it was pretty forgettable and uninspired stuff but I've seen far more that's way worse than this. Just another "whatever" superhero movie (there's a lot of them).

Broadchurch Season 1 Episode 8

Wow

I never called Joe as the killer. It fit well once they revealed it, but I never would have called it.

Overall, it was an interesting mystery with some good characters. It had problems with feeling padded when it came to the drama, and some of the stylistic choices really irritated me (the "dramatic slow mo" scenes were almost all pointless, except for the one in the last episode). Overall though it was a solid show that kept me guessing.

I didn't actually find his backstory too interesting. I mean, it was ok, but I don't feel like his original case is too important, definitely not something that will hold my attention for a whole season, especially with

Tennant no longer being a detective

For me, Broadchurch works as a 8 episode mini/single series. I liked what I saw, but I don't need any more of it.

Graham Norton Show

Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega.

Carrie apparently told Graham the whole script a year ago and he had to keep it secret too. John Boyega is pretty fucking funny; he likes Frozen and he took Harrison Ford out for Nigerian food in London without any security. Daisy Ridley... oh dear, she really reminds me of Kiera Knightley... which is not a good thing. One is enough.

Carrie's advice to Daisy: Don't go through the crew like wildfire.

Infinite Issues.

Youtubes about the Missadventures of a 20 something year old clerk herding nerds in a comic book shop.

She is not happy about the names her clientele have come up with to name her breasts.

Sam and Twitch.

Merry and Pippin.

Kang and Kodos.

Skeeter and Scooter.

The Uncanny Valley.

"It's been a while since we've seen Sam and Twitch on a case, maybe they're getting too old for this shit?"

"Hell no! Sam and Twitch always get their man!"

Trailer for the Eddie the Eagle film.

It's has proper actors in it like Hugh Jackman and Christopher Walken. What?! It's an actual proper film.... about Eddie the fucking Eagle?! Speechless.

Bear's Wild Adventure with President Obama

What!? Why?!

Basically just a long advert for Obama's climate change credentials.

The Apprentice

The final. Another enjoyable series.
