The Eugenics Wars is a great trilogy of books. Were you aware the author is a poster on the BBS? Good guy. Anyways, those books might not be considered canonical but they sure as heck make the Eugenics Wars timeline of events make a little more sense so I'd recommend them to anybody.
Saving Faith by David Baldacci, I'm hooked on his Maxwell & King and Camel Club series, so figured it was worth a go.

My niece has taken an interest in Einstein, and astronomy. She's only 6, and now she thinks science is "stupid". I'm brushing up on my knowledge of physics in order to show her how awesome science really is.
I bought an awesome booklet from the early 1900s recently. There are tons of highly entertaining experiments and little party tricks. I could translate a few for you if you like.
