What are you PLAYING?

Assassin's Creed is beautiful to look at, and great fun in places, but also very repetitive. It's essentially a testbed for the crowd-interaction stuff planned for Splinter Cell Conviction, rather than a game of it's own.

Personally I think if you could graft the first-person view from Mirror's Edge (which feels even more like a technical demo) onto the combat system and jumping-down-into-fights thing from AC, you'd have the perfect Batman game...

I've got the 360 version. I would recommend it, more than a lot of people do, but so long as you know it can be repetitive, and so long as you get it cheap. I paid £12.99 for it last year (What, about $20?) and think that's a pretty good deal.
