We know a lot more about the possible future of Star Trek than we did when I made a poll a couple of weeks ago so here's the updated version. Many of these are rumour, no doubt some plans have changed especially with a new showrunner in the Discoverse.

I've loved the three Kelvin movies so far, so of course Star Trek 4 is at the top of my list. I want that crew to keep going on big-budget adventures forever. The next movie after that from Quentin Tarantino may or may not feature the Kelvin universe cast, will probably be rated R and could be a remake of "City on the Edge of Forever" or "Yesterday's Enterprise" - but those are guesses based on interviews from years ago.

I'm hopeful for the Starfleet Academy series. I really want it to be a reboot/prequel Smallville-in-space thing. Marvel did a great academy comic series in the 90's, Shatner's novel Collision Course was a lot of fun and supposedly based on a TV series pitch from the noughties, I loved the academy bits of the 2009 movie and there's always the unmade The Academy Years movie prequel/reboot that never happened in 1991. Kirk, Spock and the rest save the galaxy between classes. This could be awesome.

The Patrick Stewart/Picard/Next Gen reunion is interesting. I'm mostly curious though what it'll look like, and especially what Worf would look like like if he appears.

We'll know if the Pike series is worth anything when we meet nunuPike in the next episode of Discovery. I'm curious what kind of stories can be told in this show that couldn't just be more Disco episodes.

And speaking of Disco... season 1 was mostly good but ended flatly. Hoping season 2 builds to a satisfying crescendo and has far fewer Burnham speeches.

Khan on Ceti Alpha V holds zero interest. I wan't an alternate-history 90's series about the Eugenics Wars.

The Animated series could be anything. As long as it gets kids watching the movies and buying the toys, I'm all for it.

Disco season 2 is still top of my list. Once we get definite confirmation of Sir Patrick signing up, that project might be top, but I'm only tentatively optimistic at the moment.

I'd definitely like to see an animated series too, depending on the setting. Very little interest in seeing more Khan.

Since Discovery came along, I really can't get that excited about the films as I when we had no small screen Trek to look forward to.

The Next Gen reunion. I've enjoyed (for tje most part) the last decade or so of Post Nemsis novels, but I am looking forward to live action Picard and Co and the absolute twisting around that will occur to keep that and the novels in continuity with each other. I would also love the Borg to be involved.

Discovery Season 2
Picard Series
Tarantino Trek
Star Trek 4
Pike Series (could go up, based on what we see in DSC S2, but I'll leave it here for now)
Starfleet Academy (could go up, depending on the cast, but leaving it here for now)
... everything else

I've never watched the Orville so i cant comment on it. and im not entirely certain why it keeps inserting itself into Trek discussions. Why not have the Expanse in there too?
but im looking forward to everything Trek related except the Academy thing, if it were to happen. I just don't think it would work out.

You'll know when you see it. It's literally more 90's-style Trek episodes with the serial numbers filed off and dick jokes.

Expanse and whatnot are shows set in space, but they're their own thing.

What am I looking forward to? The same: two Paramount movies and season two of The Orville.

Many Trek veterans are working on The Orville.

I'll pass then.

It is not for everyone, though I suggest checking out the first few episodes before completely dismissing it.

I like The Orville just fine, but yeah, the constant insertion of it into so many Star Trek conversations is definitely irritating.

By the way, @The Old Mixer, time to bust out the jar again please.

The Picard/TNG thing tops my list, if it does indeed happen. I just hope there's some faces from DS9 and VOY in there as well. Nothing major, just maybe like a couple gratuitous cameos. Make it so. Unless, of course, that sort of thing would dilute the story they want to tell, then don't make it so.

I like 2 of the 3 Kelvin films, so there's some strong interest there too. I really like Beyond. (I like portions of Into Darkness, but overall it wasn't my cup of tea.)

I have a general interest in all the things listed, Disco included, but those two are my main things.

Picard has the most appeal to me and interactions he would be involved, too. So I agree with this.
A different opponent than the Borg would be nice, though. I had my fill of the Borg. To each his own.

Disco season 2 and a possible Picard miniseries top my list. Excited about a 4th Kelvin movie also. I tried the Orville twice and the sense of deja vu was overwhelming.

First and foremost: Kelvinverse movie 4 - above everything else!

:)

After that, everything else in equal measure.

It would be neat to see the new TNG specials or whatever they will be, lead into the future as depicted in All Good Things! ;)

Kelvin 4, Tarantino, Discovery 2, Academy, TNG.

Those are at the top for me, though I voted for everything.

I haven't had the opportunity to see Discovery season 1 yet, but I'm looking forward to 2 anyway to read all the latest arguing.

The Khan thing would have to be really well-done or that would have the potential to soundly fall on its face.

In order:

1. DSC S2 (I'm already invested, so this is top of the list)
2. Pike/Spock miniseries (Because why the hell NOT??) :)
3. Kelvintrek 4 (love that cast, interested in what the new director can bring)
4. TarantinoTrek (see above, but with slight trepidation)
5. Khan Mini Series (just because it would be a true departure from other Trek movies and tv experiences)
6. Starfleet Academy (see above)
7. New Animated Series (something to watch with my young boys!)
8. Picard / Patrick Stewart Rumored Thing (could be good, could suck llama ballz)

The Picard one, I have reservations but if done properly (big if) that'd be heaven

Also looking forwards to Discovery season 2

QT's trek interests me

Orville .... look its easy watching and I dont mind it but if Halston Sage is gone then meh to the orville.

JJtrek4, I've lost interest now there is plenty of other trek around. Its odd because Pine, Saldana, Pegg and to a lesser extent Quinto are all some of my favourite actors/ress but I dont know why I just find these movies to just be 7/10 decent if theres no marvel movie at the theatre.
